I am going to give you a critique, since you requested it, but I'm too cheap to spend money on a deviantart premium account that doesn't really help me grow as an artist.
So here it is.
1. You've done well to fill up the square image and have a good vector in the center, which leads the eyes to the left to the head.
2. The shading isn't bad at all, but it seems that you've not paid attention to lighting. You've got a little bit of attention paid to shadows, but unless you're still learning how to draw (which I'm sure you are) it falls short on the lighting aspect.
3. Notwithstanding, it seems you didn't really intend on getting realistic lighting anyway. It does very well as a 2D image, and is very well polished, with no visible marks or unwanted striations in the pencil toning, making it very smooth and consistant. It tells me you have very precise hands, but not a great pursuit of realism, which I think you might like to try in the near future.
All in all, a good solid picture that does not display ALL of the aspects of a detailed drawing, but nonetheless seems to fulfill the goal that you set for yourself at your standard.
